Founded by an attorney who himself is an accomplished photographer, Richard Liebowitz created our firm to represent photographers and other copyright holders against infringers on artists’ creative rights.

These unpaid internships are ideal for those in law school considering intellectual property law, as well as those enrolled in college, university, or other secondary schools, considering a career in the law.

Interns will participate in research, document preparation, and other pre-litigation activities, to assess the viability of potential cases as well as advance selected cases through the legal process. You will review documents, compile data, interact with clients and opposing counsel, and perform other administrative tasks as required.

We offer a busy yet friendly and casual work environment in our Valley Stream, NY, office, conveniently located one block from Valley Stream LIRR train station.


The ideal candidate for this position is hard-working, focused, and able to work independently on multiple tasks. You should have a genuine interest in copyright issues and the law.

Those seeking a career in copyright law would benefit the most from this position. We expect all members of our team to be professional, respectful and committed to delivering the highest quality work to our clients.

You should be proficient in Microsoft Office software, and be comfortable working in a Mac-only environment. Applicants must have strong skills in the areas of verbal and written communications, organization, efficiency, and time management.

Prior legal experience is a plus but not required.
